  10. Go Amiga go!, and learn to read -- Opera Software has officially added the
  11. Amiga
  12. platform to Project Magic, and the users came out in droves. 
  13. In less than three days, the numbers surpassed those of the Linux/X11
  14. platform,
  15. and there is no end in sight.

  17. The most amazing observation of this initiative is the unproportionally high
  18. number of seemingly dyslexic/illiterate Amiga users. Whereas we made
  19. abundantly
  20. clear not to post any support messages in our guestbook, these folks users
  21. apparently cannot read and happily continue to post 'Amiga is great!'
  22. messages.
  23. Needless to say that they get happily sent into bit heaven by our annoyed
  24. webmaster.

  26. On the other hand, the tremendous support support of PM-Amiga shows how it
  27. really works. Not that we at Opera Software go out and knock on every user's
  28. door or nag the press, but no!, the users take it into their own hands and
  29. spread the news. This also seems to be one of the main reasons for the
  30. 'failure'
  31. of the Linux/X11 platform, and the slow progress on BeOS. Whereas Mac, OS/2
  32. and
  33. Amiga users spread the word amongst themselves and the associated press or
  34. public places, Linux/X11 users seem to be expecting us to announce PM
  35. everywhere. Instead they should ask their friends on the newsgroups and
  36. magazines, why they haven't reported about Project Magic. Both Mac and OS/2
  37. are
  38. enjoying tremendous support from the press, newsgroups and mailing lists --
  39. and
  40. it shows!
